The Agile Program Manager will provide effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, program management and coaching skills, supporting the Digital Enterprise transformation. They will be responsible for coaching the rules of Scrum, removing impediments from the Enterprise DBU while promoting self-management and constantly improving our standards of work. They will serve as liaison between Enterprise Agile Communities of Practice both technical and non-technical, communicating with leadership and other cross functional areas.
They should have an understanding of emerging digital technologies, project management and life cycle development.

Major Accountabilities

Specifically, the Agile Program Manager will:

Support Enterprise Agile Teams:
Organize and facilitate Agile training programs where applicable
Track and communicate Enterprise team impediment and challenges
Establish control function relationships (risk, compliance, audit, legal, IS&C)
Support Enterprise to capitalize on learnings across communities of practice
Act as a change agent for Enterprise Communities to support and facilitate onboarding and changing of teams
Progress
Support Agile practice and governance with respect to process and documentation (i.e. ensuring consistency across geographies with respect to Agile activities such as Confluence, JIRA, DOD)
Ensure enterprise teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility
Manage program teams and relationships ensuring Agile teams are cohesive and operating to Enterprise objectives and priorities
Support Enterprise Agile teams to maintain the momentum of the initiative against a background of change and occasionally conflicting priorities

Key Competencies/Work Experience:
Has excellent skills in relationship and general business management
Excellent logic, analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail and a passion to proactively seek ways to improve processes and make a difference 
With expert team building and facilitation skills, has the ability to coach enterprise leaders and teams to reach their highest potential
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
“Self-motivated” and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks as delegated; creative, resourceful and innovative at tackling complex problems and challenges 
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with diverse personality types and a “team-player” with the ability to work within a collaborative environment
“Self-confidence” to be assertive when taking a position and can constructively resolve problems; able to handle constructive feedback well
Ability to understand complex Enterprise issues
Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures and a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
Bachelor’s degree/ diploma in Engineering / Computer Science/Business, or equivalent
Professional Certification is an asset
3 - 5 years of Program Management experience
1 – 3 years of Agile experience
Self-taught and self-teaching, with a demonstrated aptitude for acquiring knowledge and skills.
