Manager, Collections Contact Strategies & Analytics
Purpose
Working within Canada ScotiaHelps, you will be responsible for the delivery of timely management reporting & analyses, enabling operations teams to make effective decisions to achieve the Bank’s credit loss & operations expense plans
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for the design and development of analyses pertaining to collections performance. Identifies actionable insights to improve collection efforts and recoveries
- Publishes and monitors key performance indicator reports. Investigates trends & clearly communicates results to management team and executives
- Supports strategic initiatives through data sourcing, manipulation, analyses, & visualizations
- Supports stakeholders within collections through analyses on collections effectiveness, communicating trends & value-added insights
- Generates clear analyses & presentations to stakeholders and senior management
- Seek out new and innovative ways of seeing the business through data, statistics, and visualizations
- Work with stakeholders to establish requirements to respond to inquiries
What You'll Bring:
- 3-5 years of analytical experience including statistical analysis
- Advance knowledge and 3+ years expertise with reporting & statistical software packages such as SAS, Power BI, SQL, & Python
- Experience with SQL Server
- Experience manipulating large and complex databases
- Results driven individual with high level of curiosity and ability to dive into details without losing sight of the big picture
- Strong Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Exceptional organization skills to prioritize, manage, and implement a variety of competing initiatives, on a concurrent or staggered basis
- A University degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer science, or information technology related discipline.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
