The Mortgage Officer for Commercial Mortgage Services is responsible for contributing to the Teams overall success by providing excellent administrative support of relationship mortgages/loans for Client Relationship Managers, SR Managers and adjudicating offices as well as investor mortgage clients.  The incumbent will ensure that daily administrative functions with the processing of mortgages are completed in a timely and accurate manner.  Provide service to customers in accordance with Commercial Mortgages, Investors and Non Profit Housing across Canada.  The incumbent must have strong operational skills and thorough knowledge of Commercial Mortgages post funding.  The incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines.     
Completing set up of applications on CIS in accordance to KYC guidelines.
Complete review and analysis of Final Reporting on funded mortgages in accordance to audit and compliance.
Preparation of Discharge Documentation, statements, annual review updates.
Complete all administration functions post funding and adherence to Service Levels in order to achieve customer excellence.
Identify deficiency in security documentation and follow through with resolution
Contribute to improvements that increase operational effectiveness.
Maintain portfolio management of files.
Ensure controls are adhered to in accordance with audit requirements

Thorough understanding of financial posting of funding, payment collection and preparation of statements.
Thorough knowledge of mortgages administration and documentation.
Thorough knowledge of Release of collateral in accordance with Land Titles, PPSA
Demonstrates proficiency in FFT, AS400,Teller maintenance, TLS

Excellent writing and communication skills
Knowledge of mortgages in operating environment specific to Real Estate Lending
Working Knowledge of computers including word and excel spreadsheets.
Thorough knowledge of regulatory compliance related to Privacy, anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing, Know your Customer (KYC) requirement.      

This position is located in downtown Toronto and will be re-locating to 4715 Tahoe Blvd, Mississauga in 2017. Hours of Operation: 7 am - 8 pm. Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours/week.
