POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate would support and contribute towards key projects and initiatives within International Wealth Management. They would also experience frequent exposure and visibility to the International Wealth Management teams locally and internationally plus other various business partners within Risk, Products, Compliance, Legal, etc.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Providing support in the elaboration of the dashboards to advance Client Insights and Analytics agenda and to inform executive decision making
  • Collaborate with the Data & Analytics projects
  • Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

The preferred candidate would demonstrate accountability, commitment, and self-initiative. Demonstrate strong interest in the financial markets, macroeconomics, and Wealth Management business. A “can do” attitude in addition to the ability to work in a cross – functional teams with results and customer focus would be the ideal behaviour to be brought to the team.

The position would be a rewarding introduction to a broad banking view from the head office perspective where analytics and business intelligence play an essential role. Project management, execution and delivery would be required; therefore the following knowledge / skills would be needed:

  • Problem solving and analytical problem-solving
  • Analytical skills: Strong MS Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Proven knowledge of handling both structured/unstructured data in data
  • Experience using and developing dashboards in Power BI
  • Experience building dashboards, writing queries, and using business intelligence tools
  • Knowledge of R, M or DAX is an asset
  • Relationship building
  • Presentation execution
  • Business acumen with moderate to medium banking industry familiarity
  • Ability to optimize dashboard performance to handle large volumes of data
  • Spanish is a strong asset but not required

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Currently enrolled in a Post-Secondary Degree (Master or bachelor’s degree in commerce, Data Analytics, Economics, Engineering preferred).
