The Velocity Program is not your average internship or co-op! This is a customized experience that focuses on providing you with the development and tools you need to grow your career. After successfully completing a co-op or internship with top performance, we will work with you to establish your future placements. As a result, you will get to learn, grow, and experiment within different areas of both Scotiabank and Tangerine!  

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:  

• Collaboration with an office team in design, preparation of presentation material, sample boards and in the production of documents in AutoCAD  

• Production of documentation in written form, to a high quality and professional standard  

• Regular schedule of work, and meeting of schedule for work assigned by the team  

• Develop visual materials to represent designs, utilizing Photoshop and Adobe Suite   

Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if:  

• You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education, preferably Architecture, Building Technology, Design or related program.  

• You love to learn and envision yourself working for an international organization that heavily invests in your future.  

• You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, and competitions and/or hackathons.  

• You have some experience in the production of design and space planning drawings in AutoCAD. 

• You are proficient in CAD, Revit, and other pertinent software including Sketchup, Photoshop and MS Office. 

• You have experience in 3D renderings, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and any other software platforms  

• You demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines. 

• You have strong initiative and motivation to achieve high standards in architectural work. 

• You have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, consultants and other stakeholders. 

• French or Spanish is an asset.
