Title:  Transformation Manager, Scotia Digital

The Transformation Manager will lead programs to transform Scotia Digital operations and build key operational processes to enable Scotia Digital’s overall strategy. The successful candidate will design, orchestrate, and implement our most important strategic operational change programs that maximize employee adoption and usage, and minimize resistance.  The successful candidate will work directly with Scotia Digital senior leaders across business operations, product, and technology. They will support the Director, Digital Business Operations, in developing and implementing various large strategic initiatives, along with managing transformation programs.

  • Support multi-disciplinary initiatives to implement solutions to move the organization and teams forward in their respective strategic objectives
  • Resolve highly complex, multi-faceted problems to meet the operations, product, and technology function leadership needs by applying an agile mindset that is constantly focused on delivering value quickly based on strategic priorities
  • Manage stakeholders while tracking and reporting issues to the Director, Digital Business Operations
  • Define and measure success metrics, and monitor change and program progress
  • Deliver high-quality work that meets expectations for timeliness, accuracy, and completeness across the full cycle of project management accountabilities including defining priorities, preparing business case proposals, developing implementation strategies, monitoring progress against planned objectives, financial review, and securing consensus and cooperation from stakeholders and senior management
  • Bring innovative thinking to break down strategic problems, supported by analyses  
  • Continually and quickly acquire and apply knowledge of each function’s strategies and policies, risk management practices and methodologies, back-office processes, and organizational climate to be able to inform decision-making
  • Build strong relationships with Scotia Digital leaders, and Enterprise partners and their teams, to facilitate collaboration  
  • Provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions
  • Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans
  • Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?

  • Education in Engineering, Business, Operations, Processes or related field
  • 5-7 years of IT and/or business industry work experience, which includes at least 5 years in a management consulting capacity
  • Advanced technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines, technologies, and processes
  • Expertise in very complex business and operational processes and their implications across the enterprise
