The Quality Engineer (QE) position for Endpoint Management delivers reliable, high-performing, and secure solutions across the organization. This role works closely with development, operations, and support teams to implement efficient testing and improve device management in collaboration with Scotiabank teams. The role ensures endpoint platform changes are safe, reliable, and meet quality standards before deployment by designing effective testing strategies, automating processes, and promoting continuous improvement to enhance stability, security, and user experience.

 

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
• Design, configure, and maintain Microsoft Intune environments for Windows workstations and application management.
• Develop and implement security and compliance policies for devices and applications.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Intune and related technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on the health and performance of the Intune infrastructure.
• Document processes, configurations, and changes in accordance with organizational standards.
• Stay up to date with evolving features and best practices in Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Implement compliance policies and manage device enrollment to ensure secure and streamlined endpoint management.
• Provide advanced Tier 3 support addressing complex issues and optimizing system workflows for reliability.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, SOPs, and compliance reports.

 


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, or related IT roles.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) and management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM, JAMF).
• Experience with endpoint security technologies, including EDR, antivirus, and device encryption.
• Understanding of network protocols, authentication methods, and enterprise security frameworks.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for endpoint management tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM & Intune)
• SCCM integration
• Conditional Access & Compliance Policies
• PowerShell scripting
• Azure AD & cloud security experience
