In this role you will:
- Develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Develop and manage APIs for integration with different applications (including multiple environments).
- Configure and manage APIs in Azure Durable Functions.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or similar.
- Experience/Knowledgeable of Kubernetes’ different deployment models is a plus.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud-based solutions and APIs.
- Support implementation and maintenance CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes. Azure DevOps knowledge is desirable (Pipelines / Releases / Repos).
- Support performance tuning and optimization of cloud-based applications, including RedHat Linux services.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration with Azure services.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure (Windows and RedHat servers) and applications.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or related experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud computing concepts.
- Experience with other Azure services such as Data Factory, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, SQL MI instances and Azure Application Service Environment (ASE).
- Experience creating Release pipelines for microservices in Azure and proficiency in microservice architecture and development.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Highly developed interpersonal communication style; self-starter with the ability to balance multiple tasks and work with others towards a common vision.
- Accurate and thorough investigation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Proven experience in successfully implementing change through best practice change methodologies
- Familiarity with serverless computing (Azure App Server Environment) and Azure Functions
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Data Engineer) are a plus.
- Experienced with Secure SFTP and SSH password-less connections and PGP encryption processes.
- Ability to work in multiple platforms such as RedHat Linux and Windows Servers.
- Experience building APIs in Java or Python.
- Experienced in Containers such as Docker. Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development
