The Team

 

  • We are Enterprise Core Technology focused on Proudly supporting US Deposits

  • We work closely with our Business Partners, Developers, Vendors and various partners within the Bank to ensure we deliver successful projects which align with the overall business strategies and roadmaps ensuring the highest quality experience for the customer. 
     

  • The group is a mix of business analysts, developers, and technical leads who provide value by delivering projects that meet the needs of our Business line. We develop Roadmaps, ensure end-to-end project delivery, write technical stories, develop code, manage stakeholders and connect related teams. 

 

The role:

 

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of business and technology related solutions for our US Deposit partners.

  • Is responsible for providing technology support, development, and solutions for the lines of Business that we support.

  • Works with the architects, other developers and business leads to provide solutions that meet the business needs and moves the business along their Roadmap goals. 

  • Responsible for ensuring that the business’s needs are considered on Bank wide initiatives that impact our applications.

  • When required, be a part of after-hours production issue resolution in the evenings and/or weekends.

  • Strong Vendor relationship/management around SaaS model relationships.

 

Is this role right for you?

 

  • Understands Deposits from several points of view and aligns IT&S systems and processes to address critical information and technical requirements.

  • Has extensive knowledge in Deposits, Commercial and some knowledge in Retail. 

  • Has knowledge in vendor based hosted platforms, and be able to help the Business make decisions that will help roadmap the applications.

  • Formulates and defines technical requirements based on business requirements received.

  • Thrives on the detailed design & deployment of various solution

  • Provides and implements technical solutions for specific business line projects, supporting business applications with integration needs across multiple technology domains.

  • Participates in all phases of the IT System Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Acts as a liaison between developers and business team members. Responsible for representing and successfully navigating projects through the internal Bank processes (Operational Readiness, Change Control etc.)

  • Provides expert knowledge of cross-functional and business processes, policies and systems and works to influence peers and senior management to adopt, implement and align.

  • Ability to Develop code if required to align with Business requirements.

  • Understand Kafka, Cloud, API technology

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

 

  • You have strong communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills to articulate & defend solutions to a senior level technology audience.

  • You have at least 5-7+ years of hands-on technical working experience with development and/or SaaS relationship model.

  • You have at least 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience with Vendor Platforms and configurations.

  • You can demonstrate a strong technical working knowledge and can draw comparisons from systems to outline and document gaps, solutions and articulate critical decisions required.

  • You can demonstrate broad and deep problem-solving skills to enable the ability to determine the root cause of a production issue or a performance problem.

  • You have experience in the use of debugging products to track real time processing.
