Group Treasury and Risk Technology, Corporate & Commercial Banking Technology team provides project, change, and development management services for non-retail enterprise risk systems, supporting the Global Risk Management (GRM) business lines

 

The Role 

 

Our team is searching for Business Analysts who will provide L2 production support for our applications and will work closely with the business stakeholders to review and assess business needs for improved risk information and to help define new reporting and or system enhancements to respond to business, operational and compliance requirements. Business analysis activities include data analysis, business requirement solution determination and documentation, and supporting system enhancement development and implementation. Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Provide L2 production support to end users
  • Elicit, define, assess and document detailed business and system design requirements (functional, operational, transitional, information & non-functional) for new systems & systems enhancements and identify any gaps within current capability.
  • Performs analysis and evaluation of options, alternatives, and system capabilities; Identify complex process and systems solutions to address major system needs.
  • Provide strong subject matter expertise across multiple functional areas and across functional process flows or functional and cross functional teams.
  • Understand complex system integrations including source and target systems and how they relate to each other and perform data analysis.
  • Assist with managing projects and coordinate work with Stakeholders and Project Teams and provide post rollout support for system enhancements.
  • Coordinate timing for development and testing if the change involves multi-systems to meet deployment date, provide support for developers and testers during the sprints and preparing release notes
  • Participating and supporting the Intake process; ability to facilitate meetings, action plans and audit requests
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and activities in a timely, organized manner & independently resolve complex, multi-faceted problems to meet the business needs.
  • Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate closely with QA analysts, developers, end users, and business teams to understand requirements, perform gap analyses, assess business needs and drive  development effort estimates
  • Participate and run SCRUM Meetings (as needed)
  • Design test sets and automate where possible, including functional and non functional testing, regression testing as well as performance testing (as needed)

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or relevant experience
  • 2+ years experience in Business Analysis procedures and requirements, as well as technical analysis and design requirements.
  • Highly experienced in writing business requirements for system development.
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications and enterprise analysis.
  • SQL knowledge and skilled and experienced in working with relational database structures
  • Experience working in a project environment and SDLC methodologies.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Creative problem solver, flexible, proactive and able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.     

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Working experience in the banking/financial services industry would be an asset
  • Knowledge of Credit and Risk applications preferred
  • Experience with Moody’s Analytics CreditLens application
  • Fluency in Spanish is an asset
  • Experience working in Agile environment
