Position: Technical Business Lead Analyst (Bilingual - SPANISH required)



Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Conectado Program in LATAM, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.  The incumbent is responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, processes, workflows, jobs aids, circulars, create testing strategies and test cases and execute them, provide production support and assisting with the management of projects that solve complex business problems for International Wealth Management. Working will utilize wealth management and banking knowledge to analyze current processes, document new procedures and business requirements in accordance with project Methodology and Bank standards.



Accountabilities 
1.    Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
2.    Analyze, create, update and review business and system requirements in conjunction with the respective business process owners.
3.    Guide the teams on how to leverage Agile/Scrum practices, values & framework ensuring the Agile mindset is fully adopted.  Assist Senior Manager with supporting the team development, removing roadblocks, leading Agile events and sprints.
4.    Support the development and maintenance of Conectado ecosystem. 
5.    Conduct research and perform analysis to identify and recommend technical solutions to complex business problems
6.    Working with business lines, development teams and third-party providers to support project development process, review status reports, and ensure project results are consistent with approved targets and strategies
7.    Oversee internal support systems and liaise with appropriate internal and/or external partners to solution any problems or improve supporting processes
8.    Provide production support (incident management and troubleshooting) for all open incidents related to Conectado and Customer Portal.
9.    Working with project teams, internal and external groups and partners in all phases of the project and systems life cycles, from gathering and documenting requirements through review detailed design solution to coordinating and/or assisting with testing to implementation and post implementation application support
10.    Engage in project activities as well as unplanned business support activities to during project lifecycle and post implementation support. Assist the Relationship Manager to better assist the line of business on daily and strategically driven initiatives.
11.    Ensure that supervisor is kept informed of all unresolved issues, areas of concern and any deviations from plan through timely and well documented reporting.
12.    Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
13.    Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. 



Skills Required:
-    Experience working in financial system preferably on the Commercial Banking
-    Analytical thinking using a systematic approach to planning and problem- solving together with accuracy and thoroughness to ensure that work is completed correctly, and it is of high quality.
-    SQL skills are a must
-    Java medium level is a must
-    English and Spanish speaker
-    Experience in working in an agile methodology is a must
-    Very good written and communication skills; being able to interact with business partners and different development teams in different countries
-    Excellent business analysis skills; documenting requirements and mapping information - to create items ready for development
-    Must be self-motivating and able to work independently with minimal direction
-    Must be positive and able to work effectively with team members in order to achieve common objectives
-    Experience and Knowledge in REST/JSON, WebServices,  SpringBoot, Cloud fundamental knowledge (azure or GCP) is an asset.
