The Role

Contributes to the overall success of the Core Banking Engineering globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

 

What You’ll Do:

As a Technical Business Analyst Advisory, you will independently resolve complex business problems for the assigned Lines of Business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
  • Lead the discovery, analysis, and documentation of business requirements that drive strategic transformation.
  • Lead the integration efforts with channels and SaaS platforms, helping define secure end-to-end solution flows leveraging SSO, SAML, and OIDC protocols.
  • Partner with UX/UI and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, scalable user experiences, ensuring alignment with usability standards and consistent cross-channel design.
  • Define and help manage entitlements within the application, including role-based access, permissions, and governance aligned with enterprise security policies.
  • Support data, reporting, and integration initiatives across the platform, with familiarity in event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka) and cloud engineering principles.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear user stories and functional specifications that guide implementation.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure readiness for delivery, testing, and post-implementation success.
  • Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying new ways to work smarter and deliver better outcomes for customers.
  • Contributes to an inclusive, high-performance culture where diverse perspectives drive better solutions.
  • Challenge assumptions and bring forward creative ideas to simplify, automate, and improve processes.
  • Providing training and mentorship to team members to maintain high standards of performance and continuity.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • You have 4+ years of experience in a Business System Analyst role
  • Technical knowledge of network infrastructures, cloud computing platforms (i.e GCP) , event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka), API and database (i.e Mongo DB testing
  • Experience in the Banking or Financial with a background in Accounting is preferred.
  • Experience in Liquidity and Virtual Account Management is an asset, along with exposure to channel integrations, UI/UX considerations, and security protocols.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset — you see the big picture, connect patterns, and anticipate what’s next.
  • Curiosity and courage to ask why, challenge assumptions, and explore innovative solutions.
  • Proven experience in business process mapping, system analysis, and requirements documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate between technical and business perspectives.
  • Experience conducting gaps and impact analyses for large-scale systems or modernization programs.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments, balancing short-term execution with long-term vision.
  • A recognized under-graduate degree in programming/computer science or a related discipline
  • Availability to work on-site 4 days per week.
