Reporting into Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, Sourcing, you will partner closely with the Talent Acquisition leadership team to build the foundation for purposeful sourcing by creating talent pipelines that feed candidate pools to improve quality of hire and reduce time to fill. In partnership with the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing team talent development, boosting team morale, improving TA sourcing programs and delivery, while continuing to improve the execution of sourcing strategies. You will lead the change and lead the team from reactive hiring to proactive sourcing in all talent segments through creating meaningful relationships, unique operating models and creative sourcing strategies.

 

Accountabilities

  • Provides day to day coaching and mentorship to a junior sourcing team and ensure all service level agreements, scorecards and other measurements are being achieved
  • Partners with Senior Manager or/and Director to enable the sourcing team to be more visible and engaged with the HR and business leaders 
  • Manages escalations and issues (e.g. business related questions and complexities with certain sourcing scenarios) and ensures sourcing activities are delivered in compliance with legislative requirements
  • Manages key stakeholder relationships and champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Develops and on-boards new sourcing members, develops training programs and is a champion of a continuous improvement mindset when it comes to recruitment processes
  • Along with providing coaching and mentoring to the team, this role maintains and manages a lower yet hard to fill requisition requirements:
  • Supports more complex business lines working with executives and senior leaders. Recruits for senior, complex and specialized roles
  • Partners with Consultants, Talent Acquisition - Sourcing, Research Associates and Hire & Onboarding Administrators to develop a robust candidate pipeline, acquire the best people and ensure a smooth candidate experience
  • Proactively sources and attracts candidates through various channels and build a pipeline of candidates for all critical, difficult to fill and complex roles
  • Proactively monitors developments in the external labour market and broader industry, in order to bring trends and best practices into the Bank
  • Champions a high performance environment that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment.

 

Background

  • At least 3-5 years of progressive recruitment experience with a focus in sourcing talent
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and conduct intake meetings with leaders at all levels
  • Experience sourcing candidates for complex roles
  • Experience working with aligned business/function/geography
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect big picture to team and individual contributions
  • Creative content creation, ability to form unique operating models to support the business
  • Possesses clear sense of urgency and ability to make decisions at a high pace
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is an asset
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma required
  • Demonstrated coaching and leadership experience in professional setting or extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrated ability to encourage other to explore new ideas, and motivates others to move forward after challenges and setbacks.
