Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Canadian Wealth Management and the Partnerships and Priority Segments team by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
The Strategic Partnership Consultant plays a critical role in driving business results for Scotia Wealth Management by turning strategic partnerships into measurable growth opportunities. This role focuses on unlocking value within existing relationships and creating new opportunities that lead to client acquisition and revenue generation. Working across internal teams and external partners, the incumbent will design and deliver innovative strategies that expand our reach, deepen engagement, and accelerate growth across cultural, medical, and corporate segments.
Accountabilities
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Achieve assigned sales targets by converting partnership opportunities into new primary client relationships.
• Proactively identify and prioritize business opportunities within existing partnerships and new prospects.
• Expand market reach by sourcing third-party partnerships across cultural, medical, and corporate segments.
• Design and implement strategies that include marketing initiatives, sponsorship programs, and event experiences, ensuring seamless delivery and strong brand presence.
• Provide guidance to regional leaders and internal business lines on partnership programs and initiatives.
• Represent Scotia Wealth Management at key events to strengthen relationships and deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Offer strategic insights on new partnerships, renewals, and agreements aligned with growth priorities.
• Leverage reporting, analytics, and partner audits to assess performance, optimize programs, and create new acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Ensure all activities comply with Scotiabank’s risk appetite, regulatory standards, and operational controls.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in partnership management, business development, or event strategy; financial services or healthcare experience is an asset.
• Results-driven with proven ability to achieve sales targets through partnership strategies.
• Strategic thinker and influencer with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Expertise in partnership management, event delivery, and marketing integration.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify and scale growth opportunities.
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with lead management systems and performance reporting.
• Comfortable with frequent travel and flexible hours.
