Role: Associate Consultant - Azure

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Working closely with technical leads and client teams to fully demonstrate the benefits of cloud technology 
  • Helping to build & introduce clients to automated delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
  • Defining and implementing cloud-based solutions in line with industry best practices and enterprise architecture guidelines 
  • Supporting customers in troubleshooting issues in their test and/or production environments and identifying root cause and solutions  

What you will bring to the role

  • 2+ years of enterprise IT consulting experience  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience in large-scale, secure, and high availability solutions in Azure Cloud environments or other
  • Experience in cloud deployment templating using offerings such as CloudFormation, ARM, and/or Terraform
  • Basic understanding of security principals and other associated cloud controls 
  • Some experience working with deployment automation configuration management technologies such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc 
  • Some experience with CI/CD methodologies, processes and tools, such as Atlassian Bamboo, Jenkins, Code Pipelines, Travis etc 
  • Programming/Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell or other
  • Technical writing, ability to prepare technical material to a variety of audiences 
  • Experience in working in and with Agile delivery teams / projects / programs 

Desirable Skills

  • Financial services background is an asset
  • Programming experience in Ruby, .NET, Java or other 
  • Database experience with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other
