We are looking for a strategic, client-first product practitioner to join our Digital Deepening and Engagement team as Senior Digital Product Manager, Mobile Enablement. In this role, you will shape the future of mobile-first experiences, leading a multi-year strategic vision, guiding design strategy, and enabling the delivery of cohesive, contextual, and personalized authenticated experiences across Canadian Banking.

 

You will define strategic direction, craft compelling executive-ready narratives, and drive alignment and execution across high-visibility initiatives that impact millions of Scotiabank clients.


In this role, you will:

Lead Mobile Strategy & Roadmapping

 

  • Develop, execute and evolve multi-year digital roadmaps, value-stream strategies, and mobile-first experiences.
  • Lead the go‑to‑market strategy for a new, modern mobile CX, balancing innovation with client readiness and minimizing friction from change.
  • Understand client-centric, mobile-first CX and UX principles to best distill multi-year client engagement experience with Design teams.
  • Create strategic and business casing artifacts (e.g., roadmap, upsell and cross-sell frameworks and journeys, capability maturity models).
  • Translate complex business, client experience, and technical needs into clear, actionable narratives, product briefs, and digestible requirements.
  • Integrate KPIs, benefits, and outcome metrics into strategic plans to measure incremental deliverables with rigor.

 

Drive Mobile-first Strategy Excellence

 

  • Lead the engagement strategy and information architecture design that can be seamlessly integrated with storefront, onboarding, personalization, servicing, and channel connectivity experiences.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to planning, refining interaction frameworks, capability assessments, execution, and value realization frameworks.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the technology behind digital applications and infrastructure, preferably within financial institutions or FinTech, to effectively bridge the gap between business needs and technical feasibility.

 

Embedded Product Management with Cross‑Functional Alignment

 

  • Partner with Design, Business Lines, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics teams to align deliverables to strategic priorities.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and manage roadmap/deliverable prioritizations.
  • Create and manage product management documentation to guide development, enablement, measurement, and reporting.
  • Prepare materials for senior leadership forums, business reviews, and strategic planning cycles.

 

Required Product Management & Cross-Functional Alignment

Core Requirements:

 

  • 5+ years as a Digital Product Manager with a focus on client experience design, focused in mobile apps.
  • Data-driven mindset with expertise using data, metrics, and insights to inform planning and decision-making.
  • You are a strong problem solver with a bias for action
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation capabilities; skilled at turning ambiguity into clarity for stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Expert-level understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is considered a significant asset.

 

Technical & Domain Expertise for Banking:

 

  • Deep knowledge of authenticated digital environments, financial ecosystems and infrastructure required for secure, high-scale banking applications.
  • Expert in personalized e-commerce, contextual product recommendations, and "next best action" frameworks within a mobile app storefront.
  • Proficient in distilling complex inputs into concise user stories and managing technical backlogs for engineering teams.
