Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Product Control / Corporate and Investment Banking in Canada and globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Control Corporate Banking, the incumbent is primarily responsible for providing analysis for daily P&L reporting and the daily/monthly accounting, balancing and reconciliation for Corporate Lending business. Prepares assets and liabilities financial reports and various MIS reports monthly/quarterly. The incumbent will interact with a number of functional areas within and outside of Product Control. The key internal relationship outside of Product Control will be with the GWO Corporate Lending Services unit.

Education / Experience / Other Information
- University undergraduate degree in finance or accounting
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, and to handle multiple tasks within tight time constraints
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures (balance sheet/off balance sheet and P&L), finance, business process.
Working Conditions
- Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Travel is not a requirement of the role.
