Contributes to the overall success of the Global AV Deployment Services team in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Provides recommendations and solutions for all meeting room technology.
• Will gather technology requirements, provide a design document, gather quotes from multiple vendors and manage the project from start to finish. The ability to manage your own projects and to meet demanding timelines is a must. Working on moderate to large scope projects is expected and going out for RFP's are required to ensure competitive bidding.
• Responsible for providing training to users after each deployment to ensure the users are fully comfortable using the technology.
• The incumbent will have strong knowledge in working with various AV technologies (Cisco, Crestron, etc.)
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
• 1-3 Years’ industry experience.
• Has good knowledge of how audio/video technology in each meeting room works and can troubleshoot AV technology on the spot. Demonstrates technical proficiency gained through broad exposure to all aspects of AV Deployments.
• Basic knowledge of Regulatory bodies (internal and external) and Vendor contracts
• Ability to complete various Moves, Adds, Changes and Disconnects
• Certifications, Courses are a plus
• Familiarity with Cisco, Crestron, other AV Technologies
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills
• Time management skills are a must
• Ability to manage vendors to ensure excellent quality of work
