We are seeking a skilled IBM DataPower Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable integration solutions using IBM WebSphere DataPower Gateway. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in  DataPower,  XML technologies, API security, and integrations. 


Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:


•    Design and implement secure integration solutions using IBM DataPower Gateway.  
•    Develop and maintain XSLT transformations, XML schemas, and WSDLs.  
•    Configure secure gateways using SSL/TLS, OAuth, and SAML.  
•    Troubleshoot and optimize DataPower services for high performance.  
•    Experience in performance tuning, error handling, and logging frameworks within DataPower.  
•    Monitor and tune services using tools such as DPOD, Dynatrace, and Splunk.  
•    Use CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket) for automated deployments.  
•    Manage code using Git for version control and collaboration.  
•    Work with WTX (WebSphere Transformation Extender) for data transformation.  
•    Validate APIs using SoapUI and Postman.  
•    Collaborate in Agile teams and participate in sprint planning and reviews.  
•    Provide pager/on-call support on a rotational basis to ensure high availability and timely issue resolution. 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:


•    3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataPower Gateway. 
•    Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, and SOAP/REST protocols. 
•    Experience with API security standards (OAuth, SAML, JWT). 
•    Understanding networking concepts and secure communications. 
•    Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Shell). 
•    Configure and manage Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), XML Firewall, Web Service Proxy, and API Gateway services 
•    Experience implementing AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Auditing) policies. 
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
•    Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 
•    Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 
•    IBM Certified Solution Developer – DataPower Gateway (preferred). 
•    Experience with middleware tools like MQ, WTX, or Informatica. 
•    Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools.
