As Software Development Engineer, you will contribute to the overall success of the Security Platform Engineering in Canada and Globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• • Application infrastructure and architectures; testing and code management.
  • Familiarity with Security concepts, protocol, and best practices.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experienced programmer with at least one software programming language; Preferably Java and python.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Nice to have a degree in computer science or related field.
