The Team
As a Software Developer, you will work on RESL (Real Estate Secured Lending) business applications by implementing new features and enhancing the existing codebase. This role is primarily hands-on and focused on writing clean, testable code.
Is this role right for you?
- Implement and/or debug code for assigned Jira stories and tasks
- Develop backend functionality using Java and Spring Boot (and/or Java EE where applicable)
- Build and maintain server-rendered UIs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Thymeleaf, and Bootstrap
- Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests for delivered functionality
- Follow clean code practices and established team standards
- Participate in code reviews and address feedback constructively
- Fix defects and support production issues
- Use AI-assisted development tools in line with bank policies and secure coding standards

- Able to work effectively on assigned tasks
- Comfortable navigating an existing codebase and making changes
- Understands the importance of testing, security, and code quality
- Willingness to learn banking domain concepts and internal processes
