The Software Currency Portfolio Manager is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful reporting and analysis for software currency initiatives across the enterprise portfolio. This role requires advanced technical proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, including Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint, combined with strong governance oversight. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with enterprise standards, provide actionable insights to senior leadership, and support decision-making through high-quality reporting.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive portfolio reports and dashboards using Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros) and Power BI for data visualization
• Prepare executive-level presentations in PowerPoint, incorporating financial tables, trend analysis, and remediation status updates
• Generate and validate software currency reports from CAPPM and RCPM systems; monitor month-over-month changes and highlight variances
• Ensure accurate status reporting and adherence to governance standards for all software currency projects
• Monitor remediation compliance and escalate high-priority issues to senior management when required
• Respond to ad-hoc requests for custom views, deep-dive analyses, and detailed reporting to support strategic decisions
• Collaborate with project teams and operations groups to validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance dashboard capabilities
• Provide guidance on best practices for data visualization and portfolio reporting under EPMO standards
• Work closely with the Project teams and support to make sure the governance requirements for the Projects in the portfolio are met, escalate issues as required
• Ensures SLA’s are met for status updates, monthly and quarterly reports
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, portfolio reporting, or governance roles within technology or financial services environments
• Advanced Excel: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data modeling
• Power BI: Dashboard creation, DAX queries, and visualization best practices
• PowerPoint: Ability to create executive-ready presentations with complex data sets
• Familiarity with CAPPM and RCPM systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to senior stakeholders
• Experience in software lifecycle management or currency initiatives
• PMP certification (optional, not a primary focus
