The team:

Scotiabank’s Global Technology Service’s (GTS) Executive Digital Experience’s Global Audio Visual (A/V) Deployments team is responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of global projects, and solutioning sessions to solve for unique A/V requirements on projects requiring customized solutions.


The role:

You will primarily work on small to large A/V projects across Scotiabank’s global footprint.  You will develop identify and plan remediation for legacy A/V technology, resolve audit findings related to A/V devices, manage ongoing deployment of firmware updates to ensure currency, and execute on projects to evolve and modernize Scotiabank’s A/V systems. Service ticket resolutions/support will be required as needed.  You will also be required to work with many different teams and business lines on projects.


This role will allow for remote work from home, but when required, there is an on-site presence at our primary downtown Toronto work location & campus sites in Scarborough, North York & Mississauga for deployments & support.

  • You work well under pressure, and are comfortable working under tight deadlines, conflicting priorities and changing project requirements.


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • You have strong communication (written & verbal) skills in English & the same in Spanish is an asset. Furthermore, you have good interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external business partners and vendors.
  • You have at least 1+ years of hands-on technical working experience or possess a strong core fundamental understanding on the use of A/V - Meeting Technology, which includes:
  • You can demonstrate superior problem solving & decision-making skills to quickly resolve often complex work scenarios.
  • You possess the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Project management experience is an asset.
  • You have general IT knowledge with Microsoft Office software, including but not limited to MS Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook + Google Chrome & Adobe. Otherwise, you can demonstrate a propensity to learn and pick-up technical concepts.
