The Team

 

As a Senior Software Developer at RESL (Real Estate Secured Lending), you are a self-starter who takes ownership of features end-to-end. You are expected to understand the application deeply, deliver reliably, and act as a technical anchor during development and production support.

 

 

Is this role right for you?

 

  • Independently design and implement features from Jira stories
  • Own backend and frontend code changes for the product you are working on
  • Build and integrate with internal/external services using REST and/or SOAP APIs
  • Write and maintain robust unit and integration tests
  • Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews
  • Troubleshoot and support production issues
  • Guide and mentor developers on implementation and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with security and banking standards
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools in line with bank policies and secure coding standards

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

 

Expected Capabilities

  • Strong understanding of the RESL application codebase
  • Able to make sound implementation decisions within existing architecture
  • Comfortable handling ambiguity in requirements and clarifying technical details early
  • Trusted contributor during production incidents and releases
  • Excellent debugging skills

  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Server-side rendering (Thymeleaf or other technologies)
  • Bootstrap
  • REST, SOAP
  • OWASP, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect
  • Relational databases (DB2, PostgreSQL)
  • Redis (caching and/or session state management)

 

Nice to Have

  • Java EE, Google Cloud Platform, Dynatrace, Splunk
