We are seeking a Senior Security Product Manager to join Information Security’s Workforce Identity Access Management Team. The ideal candidate has strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, to understand and consolidate organizational security requirements; deliver next generation security products through large-scale transformation; maintain a shared product framework including strategy, roadmap, budgeting, and processes in collaborate with engineering, architecture, operation, and control function teams.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Define the overall roadmap and strategy surrounding the IAM platforms which service the enterprise workforce, with particular focus on identity lifecycle management (SailPoint), directory services (Radiant Logic), authentication technologies (Entra Id, Ping Identity), and privileged access (CyberArk, Centrify)
- Partner with platform architecture, fraud technology teams, and other key stakeholders to align critical features and enhancements which are required to be addressed in product roadmap
- Manage product strategy execution, vendor selection, contract negotiation, MVP definition, and rollout planning for various enterprise workforce personas.
- Develop business cases based on the roadmap and priority, align with Technology, PMO, and Finance teams on the funding required, cost and benefit analysis, and cost allocation model.
- Have focus and expertise on industry trends (Agentic AI), new IAM capabilities (Passkeys), and advancements in fraud protection for both short and long-term product strategies.
- Ensure access management strategy aligns with Scotiabank’s Technology Policies and Standards, multi-regional regulatory requirements, and external audit bodies and standards.
- Understand and define the business objectives, clearly outline the problems, and risks it's solving.
- Execute on the product strategy, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, define MVP and rollout plan
- Facilitate communication on roadmap progress with management level stakeholders and clients
- Facilitate forums and prepare the team for constructive collaboration sessions with cross-functional teams, technology and business channels, and control functions
- Report on overall product status, metrics, key achievements, next steps and risks with a data-driven approach
Do you have the skills required to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required
- 7+ years’ experience in Product Management (or equivalent) capacity required
- 5+ years’ experience in Information Security or Information Technology
- 5+ years working with IAM platforms
- Experience with CyberArk, Centrify, Entra ID, Ping Identity, SailPoint, and other Workforce IAM solutions required
- Previous exposure to Regulatory, Compliance, Risk and Audit functions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills; can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in the information security industry and with security software products
- Excellent understanding of financial principles of large enterprise organization
- Experience in working with complex processes
- Willing to learn and grow, and demonstrates resilience to ever-changing priorities
