As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a key role in the strategic development and execution of the Client and Advisory experience across our Wealth Management business. You will be responsible for defining and driving the product roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless client journeys that align with business outcomes and regulatory requirements. You will bring deep expertise in product ownership, client experience design, and operational efficiency, and will play a critical role in shaping the future of our onboarding and servicing capabilities.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for onboarding and servicing experiences, aligning with business strategy, client needs, and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with stakeholders across Wealth Management, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Distribution to deliver impactful product initiatives
  • Champion client-centric design by identifying pain points, conducting gap analyses, and implementing solutions that enhance onboarding and servicing journeys
  • Conduct and synthesize research and analysis (e.g., product gap analysis, current state analysis, industry trends) to inform product strategy and prioritization
  • Lead and support the understanding and documenting of business needs through Agile methods such as user stories, acceptance criteria, definition of done, etc.
  • Track and communicate progress against milestones, proactively identify risks, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives
  • Continuously evaluate and streamline existing processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and team capacity
  • Lead the development of advisor and investor support materials in collaboration with Product Marketing, Communications, and other internal teams
  • Ensure all initiatives adhere to the firm’s risk appetite, compliance standards, and operational controls
  • Foster a client-focused culture, mentor junior team members, and contribute to broader organizational goals
  • Work to understand complex business processes and system flows to help build workflows supporting target operating model execution
  • Propose solutions and alternatives to internal and external stakeholders to enable the most effective process and requirements to be implemented

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree / MBA preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Previous experience within a Wealth business or leading large projects is a significant asset
  • A proven track record of leading complex product initiatives from ideation to execution
  • A strong understanding of client onboarding, servicing workflows, and regulatory considerations
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and workflow visualization tools; Microsoft Visio is an asset
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Productivity Tools (ex. MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with JIRA / Confluence
  • Understanding of Design Thinking and Agile methodologies
  • Strong collaborator with proven ability to lead, influence and coordinate sometimes conflicting stakeholders
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable within a dynamic business environment and an ability to anticipate and react quickly to technological/market changes
  • The ability to identify strategic opportunities and measure performance
  • Knowledge of CIRO, AML and Fraud Management requirements
