Is this role right for you?
As the Senior Portfolio Analyst, Multi-Asset Management, you will deliver highly competitive investment outcomes for multi-asset management portfolios. You will lead portfolio analysis and contribute to investment decisions for over $130 billion in multi-asset mandates, delivering competitive risk-adjusted outcomes for a broad range of client segments. One of your primary responsibilities is to design and maintain quantitative models that support portfolio management of systematic strategies, while automating investment processes and related activities to enhance scalability and efficiency. You will act as a key partner to Portfolio Managers, with growing accountability for mandate performance and strategy development.
In this role, you will:
• Design, build, and maintain robust quantitative models that support alpha generation, factor research and portfolio construction across multi-asset and systematic strategies.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to translate investment hypotheses into testable models, backtests, and production-ready tools that can be integrated into day-to-day portfolio management.
• Enhance and automate investment workflows, including data ingestion, portfolio analytics, rebalancing tools, and reporting processes, to improve scalability, accuracy, and speed of decision-making.
• Develop and refine factor, risk, and scenario-analysis frameworks to assess portfolio exposures and inform tactical and strategic allocation decisions.
• Manage the integrity and structure of investment data, ensuring clean, well-documented inputs for all models and analytics used by the team.
• Implement model validation, monitoring, and performance tracking routines to ensure models remain stable, explainable, and aligned with investment objectives and risk parameters.
• Produce clear documentation and communication of model assumptions, methodologies, and results for investment committees and internal stakeholders.
Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if have:
• 5+ years of relevant investment or multi-asset experience.
• CFA designation and/or relevant post-graduate degree an asset.
• Ideal candidate has a history of originating and scaling differentiated investment strategies that consistently deliver strong investment outcomes across multiple asset classes.
• Deep knowledge of finance, accounting, economics, statistics and modern portfolio theory, with strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced Excel and Python skills, plus proficiency with Bloomberg, FactSet and other institutional analytics platforms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to influence senior stakeholders and clearly articulate complex investment views.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Highly self-motivated, organized, and adaptable, with uncompromising professionalism and integrity.
