The Team

The Technology Management Office EPM Team provides a shared service support function for GWMS.  The DM Specialist oversees the team and works closely with the whole of the GWMS providing application profile consultation to ensure ongoing compliance with bank standards, and risk mitigation plans


Is this role right for you?

  • Manage and all administration of GWMS TMO EPM Team, including absence management, training approvals, student hiring, and performance reviews.
  • TMO Office Manager, inclusive of PPM approvals, hardware management, staff onboarding
  • Project Manage any DBR environment enhancements at Telus, for inclusion in annual DBR test.
  • Secure funding for annual DBR Test.
  • Planning and execution of the annual Sungard-to-Telus DBR test inclusive of test-day event tracking, event findings and post event facilitation of resolution of test findings.
  • Produce DBR Test repot.
  • Validate CAPQ ratings ensuring they align with ISCRA rating, CIA designation, and environment capability. 
  • Ongoing review and reporting on health of GWMS Application Portfolio enabling GWMS to be proactive with Risk Mitigation documentation reviews, mandatory DBR testing, application lifecycle changes and software upgrades.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise to GWMS IT Owners and consultation with other EPM Champions
  • Oversee the EPM Workflow processes, including facilitation of application onboarding, CAPQs, ISCRAs and Maintenance workflows, and managing their progress to completion


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • The incumbent must have at least 7-10 years of IT and business/industry work experience.
  • The incumbent must have systems knowledge and experience (existing systems and new technologies).
  • Experience in the project management of highly complex technology projects.
  • Experience in vendor management, including contract negotiations and managing outsourcers.
  • 5 years of direct people management experience is a must
