Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the GTB Financial Planning & Analysis team ensuring specific goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. The Senior Manager, GTB Revenue Management leads revenue planning, performance analysis, and business insight generation across GTB portfolios within Canadian Banking, Global Banking and Markets, and International Banking. The role is responsible for delivering revenue and balance sheet analysis, supporting forecasts and outlooks, identifying trends and risks, and providing actionable insight to strengthen business performance, reporting quality, and decision-making. The incumbent partners closely with GTB Directors, finance partners, and business stakeholders to support strategic priorities, management reporting, and ongoing process improvement.

- Culture / Team Environment – Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Contribute to an environment in which the team works together to produce creative and value-added strategic analysis while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls.
- Financial Planning, Forecasting & Performance Analysis
- Support GTB Finance Directors in annual planning, monthly forecasts, quarterly outlooks, and performance reviews across CB, GBM, and IB.
- Analyze revenue, balance sheet, margin, and volume drivers, and provide clear commentary on trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Maintain reporting, dashboards, and models to support executive decision-making.
- Revenue & Balance Sheet Business Partnership
- Partner with GTB Finance Directors and business stakeholders to understand product, client, and segment drivers of performance.
- Support scenario analysis, ad-hoc modelling, and recommendations to improve forecast quality and business insight.
- Monthly & Quarterly Reporting
- Prepare reporting packages, presentations, and variance analysis for GTB leadership and finance partners.
- Consolidate results and commentary for recurring management and executive deliverables.
- Controls, Governance & Data Integrity
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Partner across Finance, Treasury, Risk, and the business to resolve issues and strengthen governance.
- Strategic Initiatives & Process Improvement
- Provide finance support for strategic initiatives, business cases, and projects requiring revenue and balance sheet analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, streamline processes, and enhance analytical capabilities.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with GTB Finance Directors, Business Line finance partners, and business stakeholders to support effective decision-making.
- Communicate analysis and recommendations clearly, and respond to ad-hoc requests with urgency and accuracy.
- Ad Hoc Requests – Support ad hoc requests from Executive Management, auditors, regulators, ratings agencies, research analysts and other external parties as required. Prepare and provide analytical support including analysis and data related to business line, segment, product, geography, or client profitability.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- MBA or MS in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- CPA or CFA preferred
- 6-8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, revenue management, business partnering, or performance management within banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of revenue and balance sheet drivers, profitability analysis, and financial statements
- Experience leading forecasting, planning, management reporting, and executive presentation materials
- Strong analytical and modelling skills, with the ability to synthesize large data sets into concise insights and recommendations
- Strong understanding of banking products and finance concepts across Canadian Banking, Capital Markets, or International Banking is an asset
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting/planning tools; experience with Power BI, SmartView, OBI, or similar tools is an asset
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to Executive Management
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Expert ability to balance competing or conflicting goals of various departments/stakeholders, requiring a mature, diplomatic approach and highly developed negotiation and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment under tight deadlines
