Purpose
Regional Product Owner – Lending IB GBM Senior Manager leads, plans and executes the business initiatives related to Corporate clients credit, structuring execution and investment banking products in the IB region, to achieve both the strategy and the financial goals of the business line.
It is expected that the business initiatives in charge of the Regional Lending Product Owner GBM IB will be developed in a timely manner and that they will be aligned with the strategy and priorities established by the institution.
What You’ll Do:
He leads and drives a customer-centric culture for his entire team to deepen customer relationships and leverage the Bank's extensive relationships, systems and expertise.
- The incumbent is responsible for planning and executing the end-to-end delivery of product projects from the Credit and Structuring Execution areas, complex workflows from inception and planning to execution and delivery.
- Drives the prioritization of business initiatives to be executed in order to meet Business revenue goals.
- Is an expert in the end-to-end workflow from the credit line allocation until the facility disbursement.
- Is an expert in Business Banking. Understands the client lifecycle management complexity and the client profitability management under the global strategy guidance.
- Manages risks and issues appropriately and provides strategic project direction and coordination across multiple delivery teams and key stakeholders. Tailor priorities to address operational and resource challenges. It handles ambiguity, ensures the effectiveness and results of the team. Periodically conduct revenue reviews, expense management, and resource analysis.
- Responsible for the scoping / design and execution of the different business projects, including the target operating model and transition to business as usual (BAU) steps. Independently manages project governance and provides concise status updates for senior management reports.
- Plans and coordinates the implementation of projects that can imply changes in processes and systems, to ensure the fulfillment of the objectives of the area. Coordinates accordingly between different areas to ensure project dates, schedules, budget and deliverables are met as planned.
- Coordinates interaction with the control and support areas, interpreting needs, organizing joint work and synergy between areas, to improve service to both internal and external customers, improve processes and meet any type of regulatory requirements.
- Performs the functions of the position with efficiency, productivity and respecting internal control mechanisms in accordance with rules, policies and procedures
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, administration, finance, accounting, actuary, engineering related
- Minimum of 5 years in Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking, GCM, corporate credit structuring or related.
- Advanced knowledge in credit analysis and processes in financial institutions for companies and corporations
- Expertise in Business Banking
- Proficient in English
Work Arrangement:
Work in standard office based environment.
