A senior  Full Stack developer to lead and oversee Global Risk Management (GRM) Financial Transformation team, ensuring the finance tools are effectively developed, executed / implemented and sustained in compliance with defined requirements, internal policies and procedures. The Senior Manager Finance Technical Transformation is responsible for leading all aspects of the finance technical transformation agenda, from ideation support, development, design, implementation and ongoing sustainment of the tools to ensure continuous improvement and evolution. The incumbent works closely with GRM Senior Management, Enterprise .Operations  Finance, GRM Program Management Office (PMO), HR and other business partners, and continuously looks for opportunities for process improvements, reporting and analysis efficiencies, and cost control and containment strategies.



• Build out the overall design (building on the current MVP) and delivery of the Finance transformation agenda for GRM finance, ensuring development of features/functionality based on user feedback and necessary system integrations

• Lead the identification of operational efficiency issues, develop technological solutions for optimizing inefficiencies and developing a short, medium and long term "product" as solutions

• Think creatively with minimal guidance to solve identified issues with technology solutions leading from the front, developing MVPs to secure management buy-in for deployment

• Responsible for documenting all processes for tools developed and ongoing maintenance

• Ensuring smooth transition into sustainment as enhancements are implemented

• Manage a small but impactful team of developers to rapidly deploy such MVPs, creating impact and driving value to make case for larger deployments

• Lead an agile environment where team and business can coexist and collaborate effectively

• Ensure the integrity of GRM’s financial reporting through the design and implementation of optimized processes to manage data inconsistency and timely resolution if required

• Support the development of guidance documentation and training materials and supports implementation and adoption of tool and ongoing tool enhancements

• Own finance technology tools and leverage them to create process optimization through tool enhancements and ongoing innovation.

• Create an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Education / Experience / Other Information

• Bachelors degree in Engineering with computer science major/minor

• Minimum of 5 years of front and back end development experience, delivering projects in an agile fashion

• Some understanding of annual budgeting and financial planning process in a large organization

• Solid understanding of UI/UX largely catered to internal audiences

• Hands-on experience as a full-stack developer (with at least 5 years of development experience across front and back end)

• Programing language- ReactJS, Node JS

• Backend – database technologies- SQL Server

• An analytical mind with strong leadership and communication skills

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

• Desirable (Hyperion, OPEX), Financial reporting software, excellent excel and MS Office skills

• Able to meet tight deadlines and work evenings as needed


Working Conditions

• Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
