The Senior Manager, HR Globalization contributes to the success of the HR Globalization agenda by supporting the design, implementation, and refinement of the global HR operating model. This role is responsible for executing key initiatives related to standardization, optimization, and operational transitions, ensuring global consistency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with established governance frameworks. 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Execute change management activities aligned with HR Globalization initiatives, supporting effective adoption of the target operating model across impacted stakeholders.
  • Coordinate communications, stakeholder engagement activities, and structured feedback mechanisms to strengthen change readiness and enable effective cross-functional interactions.
  • Support assessments of the current state of HR functions and COEs by gathering and analyzing information related to processes, capabilities, volumes, and operational dependencies.
  • Support the planning and execution of operational transitions, ensuring continuity of service and adherence to established global standards.
  • Coordinate and support HR operational transitions across geographies, tracking progress, dependencies, and key risks.
  • Support optimization initiatives across HR Operations Hubs, contributing to improvements in efficiency, service quality, and process consistency.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

  • Bilingual (English – Spanish) is a strong asset
