The Senior Manager & Team Lead, Digital Marketing Retail Journey works collaboratively with marketing teams, stakeholders, and customers in defining an end-to-end digital marketing strategy across organic, owned and paid channels. In this role, the Senior Manager oversees a Journey Management team that drives growth through product acquisition, engagement and adoption, product optimization, with a customer-first mindset. The Journey Lead requires a strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives and necessitates a high level of coordination and attention to detail. Additionally, ongoing interaction with marketing peers and internal business-line customers is critical.


Is this role right for you?

  • Champion a customer-first strategic approach to overseeing the execution of end-to-end digital marketing strategy across earned, owned and paid digital channels for multiple business lines
  • Work with senior leadership to develop high impact and focused marketing strategies and execution plans that reinforce brand, value proposition, and drive growth and engagement among participants
  • Provide support in developing process and best-practice solutions to build a strong, organized and strategic team to achieve digital banking goals
  • Focus on a seamless customer journey, ensuring consistent messaging across all digital channels
  • Ability to see the big picture, but also prioritize the small tasks that will drive business results
  • Provide direction and strategic support to help evolve the authenticated & unauthenticated digital banking channels
  • Reduce cost and complexity through marketing efficiency, creating strategies that are repeatable and scalable.
  • Place deep customer insight and the participant at the centre of all marketing plans.
  • Adhere to budgeted allocations, advising on making trade-offs and choices to drive high impact solutions using the best methods possible.
  • Lead a dedicated team to maximize business objectives and promote individual growth and advancement
  • Strategically identify opportunities for cross-sell and optimization across all channels

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • You have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of digital marketing 
  • You have experience spearheading high-profile, direct response marketing campaigns
  • You are detail-oriented, love a good workback schedule, and are exceptionally organized
  • You have familiarity in platform with various ad platforms and technologies 
  • You have a positive attitude and have proven success leading a team
  • You can demonstrate the ability to build out a marketing strategy with specific outcomes
  • You have strong influencing skills and experience working with senior leadership across business lines
  • Data is your friend - you have strong analytical skills and are able to collaborate with others to identify potential solutions and to think objectively
  • You have acute attention to detail, with the ability to project manage multiple initiatives
  • You are a natural storyteller with the ability to decipher data and communicate it to a variety of audiences
