  • Oversee test environment planning and readiness; resolve constraints highlighted in Steerco updates.

  • Drive alignment across Operations, Technology, Finance, Architecture, Compliance, and Risk partners to ensure readiness for each release.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Lab Leads, and HVPM governance bodies to sequence testing and migration activities within program roadmaps.
  • Identify risks (environment, data, vendor readiness, cross border dependencies), maintain RAID items, and track mitigation progress through governance forums.
  • Develop clear, consumable communication for frontline operations and partner teams during migration events and system changes.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
  • Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.

What You'll Bring:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in enterprise modernization, highvalue payments operations, or testing leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in highvalue payments ecosystems, including Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT MT/MX, and Lynx, along with posting, reconciliation, and crossborder cash management processes.
  • Proven success leading largescale system migrations involving multiple platforms, vendors, and regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Strong foundation in enterprise testing methodologies, including environment strategy, data validation, and defect management.
  • Agile certifications such as CSPO or CSM are considered an asset.
  • Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and agile delivery practices.
  • Experience working in Agile environments or directly with development teams (asset).
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, businessfriendly language.
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technology, facilitating alignment and productive collaboration.
  • Ability to leverage in-depth knowledge of product, operations, and technology interdependencies to coordinate across teams, optimize resources, and ensure alignment with business and enterprise strategies.
