The Team 
The Technology Transformation team is an exciting team with the mandate to design, develop, and execute the global technology strategy for the Bank. 
 

The Role 
This role will work closely with a Director and additionally will have a great deal of exposure to senior executives, business line leaders and a diverse set of stakeholders to assess current capabilities, identify opportunities and design future state operating model, capabilities, and implementation roadmaps. The Senior Manager will also assist in leading the execution of key transformation initiatives and tactical implementations, working with teams across technology to ensure that the strategy becomes reality.

 

Some of the key accountabilities include:
 

Strategy Deployment 
•    Work with technology teams to understand current state gaps, future state capabilities needed and industry landscape 
•    Lead the prioritization and development of implementation roadmaps to address gaps and ensure solutions are in line with enterprise vision
Transformation Program Leadership
•    Lead one or more large scale technology transformation initiatives from inception to execution working with technology teams across the Bank
•    Work with teams to perform business analysis to develop viable business cases including initiative cost/benefit analysis, hardware/software costs, resource forecasting, financial analysis, excel modeling and work with pivot tables
•    Lead streams within a project or a project workstream, including leading problem-solving sessions, workshops and interviews with cross-functional and business line working team members and subject matter experts
Stakeholder Management
•    Present and communicate with our CTO, Global CIO, country CIOs, engineering heads and other senior leaders on an ongoing basis to gather feedback, report progress and solve issues
•    Work closely with technical teams and SMEs to ensure technology initiatives are delivered on time, within budget forecasts and deliver value identified at inception
•    Work closely with non-technology teams including business lines, HR, Finance and Risk to ensure technology initiatives are meeting business needs and are integrated within the bank effectively
People Leadership
•    Lead and coach a high performing team of individuals
•    Share knowledge and collaborate with others within the team and with other teams across the Bank to ensure effective delivery of projects

 

What You Will Bring to Succeed 
•    1-3 years of experience in management consulting or corporate strategy is preferred
•    Focus on technology consulting in the banking domain is preferred.
•    Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic business environment
•    Superior interpersonal skills, leadership, and influential capabilities
•    Self-motivated; work both independently and collaboratively with multi-functional teams, as both a leader and member 
•    Background in Technology and working knowledge of various IT concepts is preferred (e.g., different programing languages, agile work, cloud computing, etc.)
•    Good knowledge of the specific technology challenges relevant to Banking industry with a sound understanding of current banking business trends and their implications for technology 
•    Superior planning and analytical skills, ability to discern research information / data and focus on the critical business issues
•    Superior presentation and written communication skills 
•    Undergraduate degree in business or engineering; graduate business degree/MBA is a strong asset
•    Excellent knowledge with MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
