The Senior Manager, Technology Enablement  within Canadian Banking Engineering (CBPE) plays a critical role in driving the adoption of outcome-based delivery practices across domains and squads. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this role focuses on enabling teams to improve flow of value, enhance delivery predictability, and foster continuous improvement. The Senior Manager partners closely with Product, Engineering, and Domain Leads to implement frameworks, coach teams, and ensure alignment to strategic priorities.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

•    Support the rollout and execution of the Value Enablement operating model across CBE domains.
•    Collaborate with Domain, Product, and Engineering Leads to implement flow-based planning and prioritization mechanisms.
•    Facilitate alignment of OKRs and investment tracking to ensure delivery against strategic outcomes.
•    Act as a coach and change agent for squads and leadership teams, promoting lean and adaptive practices.
•    Drive improvements in delivery predictability, quality, and engagement through experimentation and feedback loops.
•    Contribute to leadership capability building in areas such as adaptive governance and data-driven decision-making.
•    Monitor and report on key metrics related to business value, flow efficiency, and continuous improvement.
•    Partner with enterprise transformation teams to align enablement activities with modernization and cost optimization goals.
•    Champion a culture of psychological safety, collaboration, and shared ownership across technology and business teams.

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:


•    University degree in Business, Technology, or Organizational Development (or equivalent experience).
•    7+ years of experience in delivery transformation, operating model design, or agile enablement.
•    Strong knowledge of lean, flow, and value stream management principles.
•    Experience implementing frameworks for outcome-based delivery and continuous improvement.
•    Excellent facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
•    Certifications in agile coaching, lean, or organizational design are considered assets.
