Are you a strategic talent acquisition leader with a passion for technology recruitment and team development? Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition – Technology to lead a high-performing team supporting our dynamic Technology business.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Director, Talent Acquisition and senior business leaders to drive transformation across our recruitment practices. You’ll lead the evolution of our hiring strategies especially in high-demand areas like Cloud and emerging tech, ensuring we remain competitive in attracting top talent. Your leadership will empower a team of seasoned recruiters to deliver exceptional candidate experiences, build strong stakeholder relationships, and source passive talent through innovative channels.

You’ll also bring a data-driven mindset, using recruitment analytics and market intelligence to guide decision-making and proactively support business needs. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll foster a culture of growth, inclusion, and high performance building a team that’s agile, collaborative, and future-ready.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be: 

• Leading and coaching a high-performing TA team focused on Technology recruitment
• Partnering with senior leaders and HR to design and execute competitive hiring strategies
• Driving sourcing innovation across multiple channels
• Leveraging data and insights to inform recruitment decisions and improve outcomes
• Establishing and maintaining KPIs, recruitment dashboards, and forecasting tools to measure team performance and hiring outcomes.
• Developing programs to attract talent from non-traditional, emerging, and diverse talent pools.
• Enhancing process efficiency and candidate experience across the hiring journey
• Building a culture of learning, development, and inclusion within the team
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations

• Proven experience managing and developing high-performing recruitment teams
• Strong advisory skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Deep expertise in technology recruitment across both legacy and emerging platforms
• Advanced knowledge of sourcing strategies, workforce planning, and talent market trends
• Proven ability to lead through change, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Strong understanding of AI prompting and emerging technologies, with the ability to leverage them to enhance recruitment strategies and efficiencies
• A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation
