This Senior Manager role exists to enable business growth by partnering with leaders to deliver proactive, high impact talent solutions in a complex and evolving market.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Lead and drives a client and candidate-focused culture throughout the team to deepen relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Lead a team of Senior Consultants and ensures all service level agreements, key deliverables, and other performance measurements are achieved.
  • Understand business needs and designs talent attraction strategies in partnership with various stakeholders.
  • Support the development of recruitment and sourcing strategies for specific business lines and segments in alignment with overall Global Human Resources and Bank strategies.
  • Provide oversight of day-to-day recruitment activities, improving service effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Manage escalated and complex issues, including business-related questions and complex hiring scenarios, ensuring activities comply with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Incorporate the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture into day-to-day activities and decision-making.
  • Create an environment that supports effective and efficient operations while ensuring adherence to business controls related to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk, in accordance with the Bank’s risk management frameworks and policies.
  • Build a high-performance culture by implementing a people strategy that attracts, develops, motivates, and retains top talent through inclusive leadership, clear communication of vision and values, and succession and development planning.
  • Report to the Director, Talent Acquisition and lead a team consisting of 1 Team Manager and 7 Senior Consultants, with accountability for up to 15 direct reports and performance measured against business‑aligned metrics.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Experience leading recruitment teams
  • Expertise in implementing strong recruitment and talent acquisition practices
  • Experience working within complex and/or large organizations
  • Experience partnering with aligned business units, functions, or geographies
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent work experience in leadership and recruitment
  • Bilingual communication skills in French and/or Spanish are an asset
