Purpose


Contributes to the overall success of the Scotia iTRADE in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.


Accountabilities 


Sales planning, target setting, and performance management

  • Build and maintain annual and quarterly sales planning and target setting by channel and region (clients, accounts, funding, assets).
  • Design and maintain standardized sales performance reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with clear insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with Finance to align forecasts with financial plans and scenarios.
  • Establish and govern sales KPIs and OKRs aligned to iTRADE’s growth objectives.


Salesforce & data stewardship

  • Own iTRADE’s Salesforce based sales reporting and analytics from a business perspective.
  • Identify and resolve gaps across Salesforce, analytics, and source of truth reporting.
  • Standardize metric definitions, documentation, and controls.
  • Translate performance data into actionable insights to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Develop business cases, benefit models, and sensitivity analyses for sales tool investments.


Scorecards & governance

  • Own end to end design, build, and tracking of scorecards for internal teams and partner channels (Retail, Wealth, National Consultants).
  • Analyze scorecard trends, exceptions, and adjustments; identify systemic issues and partner with stakeholders to resolve them.


Partner & Contact Centre collaboration

  • Act as the sales performance and analytics partner across iTRADE and key distribution partners.
    Define and manage Contact Centre sales KPIs and reporting
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. 
  • Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
  • Enterprise level ownership of iTRADE sales performance.
  • Deliver executive ready insights and recommendations.
  • Provide subject matter leadership in a matrix environment, influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Drive a high performance, data driven, and collaborative culture.
  • Extensive cross functional collaboration across Sales, Retail, Wealth, Contact Centre, Analytics, Finance, and Technology


Education, Experience and Other Information 

  • University degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in sales analytics, performance management, forecasting, or planning within financial services.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Salesforce reporting, and analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to define KPIs, standardize processes, and drive automation and operational efficiency.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority
