The Senior Manager leads and oversees the success of the Physical Security Technology & Data Analytics team, ensuring that individual goals, plans, and initiatives are effectively executed in alignment with the team’s business strategies and objectives. All activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Lead the Risk Technology and Data Analytics Program, driving innovation, implementation, and integration of security solutions while staying current with industry standards and aligning with the Bank’s risk appetite.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, positioning the Security Operations Center as a centralized center of excellence within the Bank’s enterprise security framework.
- Lead the data analytics function to enable data-driven decision-making and deliver actionable insights that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Physical Security programs across the enterprise.
- Incorporate the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture into daily activities and decision-making.
- Ensure effective and efficient operations in alignment with Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while maintaining strong business controls to meet operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk obligations.
- Foster a high-performance culture and contribute to an inclusive and collaborative work environment.

- An undergraduate degree, college diploma, or equivalent related experience.
- Proficiency in data analytics, innovation, automation, and artificial intelligence.
- High fluency in English; French or Spanish is an asset.
