Role
Own the industrialization of Canadian Banking’s regulatory model delivery — enabling regulatory capital, credit loss forecasting, and stress testing through scalable, compliant, production‑ready solutions aligned to OSFI and enterprise risk management requirements.
This role is critical in advancing the Bank’s ability to deliver high‑quality regulatory outcomes, operating at the intersection of Risk, Technology, and Advanced Analytics. You will drive modernization through cloud, automation, and AI‑enabled platforms, while ensuring alignment to model risk management standards and audit/control requirements.

- Deliver scalable, compliant, production‑ready regulatory model enablement supporting Canadian Banking.
- Ensure solutions meet OSFI and enterprise risk management requirements, including model risk management standards and audit/control expectations.
- Drive modernization of model delivery through cloud, automation, and AI‑enabled platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead critical regulatory model enablement for Canadian Banking — spanning Basel/RWA, IFRS9, and stress testing.
- Drive modernization through cloud, automation, and AI on Azure/GCP. [
- Work on high-impact initiatives influencing capital, risk, and regulatory outcomes.
- Help shape the future-state architecture of regulatory model delivery.
- Own end-to-end implementation of regulatory models supporting Canadian Banking, including:
- Regulatory capital (Basel / RWA)
- Credit loss forecasting (IFRS9)
- Stress testing
- Be accountable for regulatory-grade delivery, ensuring all solutions meet:
- OSFI and enterprise risk management requirements
- Model risk management standards
- Audit and control requirements
- Industrialise and scale model enablement capabilities using:
- Python, Docker, Airflow
- Cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP
- Drive modernization of model delivery processes by incorporating:
- Machine learning
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Automation into model enablement workflows
- Partner with Risk Analytics, Finance, and Technology teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver high-impact solutions.
- Lead and develop a team of up to 15 professionals.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Strong hands-on expertise in modern data and engineering stacks, including Python, distributed processing, workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow), containerization (Docker), and cloud-based platforms (Azure, GCP).
- Proven ability to bridge quantitative modelling and enterprise technology, translating business and regulatory requirements into scalable, high-performance analytical solutions.
- Experience leading modernization initiatives from legacy platforms to cloud-based architectures, enabling parallel run, migration, and controlled decommissioning strategies (aligned with enterprise transformation programs).
- Proven experience managing teams of 10–15 professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management across Risk, Finance, and Technology.
