The Role 

 

This role is responsible for ensuring critical performance and risk metrics are clearly defined, well controlled, and reported accurately to support executive decision-making, risk oversight, audit readiness, and regulatory confidence. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of data governance, reporting, and enterprise oversight, with broad exposure across business, risk, and technology partners. The successful candidate will help shape how enterprise metrics are defined, governed, and delivered across the organization.

Lead Metric Governance and Control

  • Lead the design, calculation, and ongoing governance of enterprise KPI and KRI frameworks aligned to business priorities, enterprise objectives, and regulatory expectations.
  • Define and maintain metric logic, thresholds, lineage, and methodologies to ensure consistency, transparency, and auditability.
  • Establish and enforce controls across metric production, including validation, reconciliation, exception management, and escalation processes.
  • Support audit, compliance, and regulatory reviews through clear documentation, traceable methodologies, and defensible reporting practices.

 

Deliver Executive Reporting and Insight

  • Oversee end-to-end executive reporting to ensure enterprise performance and risk metrics are accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting outputs that provide leaders with clear visibility into trends, breaches, and remediation actions.
  • Partner with business, risk, data owner, and technology stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into measurable performance and risk indicators.
  • Advise senior leadership on the interpretation, limitations, and appropriate use of metrics and reporting outputs.

 

Drive Standardization and Improvement

  • Drive consistency across reporting domains through standardized metric definitions, governance practices, and enterprise reporting standards.
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting reporting reliability in partnership with data owners and technology teams.
  • Lead automation and process improvement initiatives that strengthen reporting efficiency, scalability, and control effectiveness.
  • Champion best practices in metric governance, metadata management, and lineage transparency to improve the quality and usability of enterprise reporting.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

 

  • 5–10 years of experience in banking, ideally in data governance, data management, data analytics, risk, reporting, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience designing and governing KPI and KRI frameworks.
  • Experience delivering executive-level reporting, dashboards, and management insight.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, controls, lineage, and governance principles.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional stakeholders across business, risk, and technology teams.
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, or regulatory review processes is an asset.

 

Working Conditions

  • Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
