The Team 

The GBME- Cross Asset Derivative Product team is a crucial part that support the Global Banking and Market business. This is an opportunity to work in the fast-moving and exciting world of Capital markets. We are looking for an energetic and strategic thought leader with Capital Market Trading & Technical background to join this dynamic team and take on a challenging and exciting role.

The Role 

The Sr Manager, Product Management will be responsible for implementation of in-house trading solutions for GBM trading focusing on Rates and Credit derivative business that will address the need of our business globally and further the modernization mandate.  

You will help to grow, inspire, and lead the initiative to deliver a product for Sales and Trading business, and will need to manage the solution aspects within the portfolio and develop roadmap in collaboration of business and technology stakeholders and mitigates risk through collaboration of cross functions teams and effective operations of your respective area.  

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• Working closely with rates/credit derivative traders and sales
• Collaborate with the cross functional teams including engineering & development, business lines and other technology and product teams to build the right products with high quality, on time and within budget.
• Continuously perform customer need analysis and understand business pain points. Identify the biggest problems to solve to build & own the roadmap.

• Effectively communicate and continuously engage & cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in front to back office and in technology, and partner with them to help drive the strategy of the department.
• Prioritizes, negotiate, and remove obstacles to ensure quality product launches.

Manage deliverables and solutioning of products to resolve complex, multi-dimensional business problems. 

• Have the opportunity to work with talented individuals from cross functional teams and be responsible to build and deliver market leading solutions that are scalable, in high quality, with adequate and effective controls to meet obligations required for compliance and operational risk and add value to our business partners and customers.  

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

• 5-10 years of product and IT experience, with strong business analysis, architecture/technical background.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets trading and Derivative products with a focus on trade repository, life cycle and pricing.
• Good understanding of the end-to-end cycle of sales & trading business
• Experienced in building in-house solutions in customer needs in your past roles and have successfully achieved it through a sound execution strategy.
• Strong problem solver with ability to influence and inspire a cross-functional team to reach ambitious goals.
• With Curious and Engineering mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty
