The Senior Manager, Portfolio Analytics & Insights is accountable for leading the day‑to‑day delivery of high‑quality portfolio risk monitoring and analytics for the Unsecured Lending portfolio (Credit Cards, Unsecured Lines of Credit, and Overdraft Protection). The role supports the Director, Portfolio Analytics & Insights and plays a critical role in informing senior leadership discussions, governance forums, and strategic decision‑making across the unsecured credit lifecycle. This is a hands‑on, technical leadership role, combining advanced analytics execution with cross‑functional leadership and strong executive storytelling.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
1. Portfolio Performance Monitoring & Analytics
· Design, build, and maintain monitoring Power BI dashboards or scorecards covering portfolio performance, early warning indicators credit quality, losses, PCL, vintages, and key risk drivers to enable effective senior oversight of portfolio performance
· Monitor portfolio performance across acquisition channels and programs to investigate variances, emerging risks, and trend shifts that may impact portfolio health
· Perform data manipulation and analysis using SQL, SAS, Power BI, Excel, and/or Python to build metrics and perform ad‑hoc executive requests
2. Insights & Data Storytelling

Produce clear and actionable analytics insights for the Unsecured Lending portfolio team, senior leaders, regulators, and business partners to support both day‑to‑day and strategic decision making

Partner closely with the Director to prepare executive‑ready decks and packages, clearly articulating risk drivers and actionable recommendations

Execute on ad-hoc analytical requests and prioritize them effectively based on urgency and value in support of multiple initiatives
3. Process Improvement & Team Development Stakeholder Support

Improve monitoring processes by driving automation, standardization, and better use of tools such as SAS/SQL and visualization platforms to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability

Coach and develop junior team members to build technical capability in Power BI, SQL, and portfolio analytics within the team

Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑performance team environment aligned with GRM values
4. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Support
- Support business line initiatives (new products, program changes, channel expansion, policy changes) with hands‑on analytics, risk assessments, and subject matter expertise on an ad-hoc basis as needed
- Maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders across Product, Operations, Collections, Technology, Finance, and Governance teams
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Proven hands-on experience building end-to-end monitoring, including:
- Strong proficiency in SQL, SAS and/or Python for data manipulation, validation, and analytics
- Strong proficiency in building dashboards with Power BI and storytelling with data
- Ability to translate complex analyses into actionable implications
- 5+ years of experience in portfolio analytics, credit risk, or financial services
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent or a Graduate Program in a related discipline
- Knowledge of portfolio analytics, credit risk, and unsecured lending products
- Experience coaching or providing oversight to others on their technical work
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver competing initiatives
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present complex analysis clearly
