As a key member of the Personalization program team, you will support the VP, Retail Client Personalization and Orchestration and work in collaboration with other Directors within the program as well as key partners, including Technology, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Retail Client Value and Product to support the Personalization program.
You will contribute to accelerating the Personalization program through creating and monitoring key KPIs & performance, financial analysis to highlight optimization opportunities, business case development & management, Steering Committee support and development of multi-year strategic roadmap across the program. This role is pivotal in driving the success of the Personalization Domain by ensuring that what is being delivered drives value for both the Bank and our clients, is tracked appropriately and aligns to key KPIs and business cases.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Develop the strategic roadmap that aligns with Personalization objectives, ensuring a clear vision for short- and long-term initiatives
- Develop business case proposals to support Strategic Investment Planning (SIP), including idea prioritization and business case approval processes
- Manage risk/controls of Personalization program with key partners (NIRA, etc.)
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of project financials, including monthly tracking of actuals against target and adherence to project schedules and budgets
- Manage end-to-end SIP process, including deep-dive and business case reviews
- Stay abreast of industry trends and external factors to ensure program remains innovative and competitive
- Engage with senior executives and cross-functional teams to manage and share progress, raise roadblocks, identify risks and adjust priorities as needed
- Support program governance though monthly status/Steering Committee updates
- Develop KPIs and reporting framework to measure and monitor success and identify areas for improvement
- Validate funding spend and accuracy of forecast, technology team velocity, and raise risks/blockers in a timely manner
- Provide monthly updates on both actuals and forecast of cost, benefits, timeline and scope as against business case
- Identify potential risks and adapt strategies to navigate complex business challenges and changing environments
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Post-secondary education in a related field; Master’s degree in Business or Finance preferred
- Multiple years of experience in Financial Services focused on strategy development, business casing, financial management, project management and/or other related functions
- A desire and demonstrated aptitude to learn and master complex issues quickly, with a passion for creating customer value and curiosity in the Personalization space
- A demonstrated capacity to define and implement strategic initiatives
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business judgement and attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of partners
- Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to synthesize and communicate key information to various audiences
- Strong ability to structure and scope complex problems, synthesize insights and develop solutions
- Comfortability working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
