As the Senior Manager of CyberArk PAM at Scotiabank, you will lead the strategic and operational management of the Bank’s privileged access infrastructure across global business lines, with a focus on Canadian and LATAM regions. You will be responsible for overseeing the deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of CyberArk solutions, ensuring alignment with Scotiabank’s security policies, regulatory requirements, and enterprise risk posture.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Lead the CyberArk PAM program roadmap, aligning with enterprise security strategy and regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSFI, PCI-DSS, SOX, NIST).
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across IT, Security, Risk, and Compliance to define PAM governance and operational models.
  • Manage CyberArk components including EPV, PVWA, CPM, PSM, PTA, and AIM across hybrid environments (Windows/Linux, AD/Azure AD).
  • Oversee onboarding of privileged accounts, vault architecture, policy configuration, and platform integrations
  • Drive automation and orchestration using PowerShell, REST APIs, and tools like Ansible or Puppet.
  • Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies are in place for PAM infrastructure
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Support internal and external audit requests, and maintain documentation for regulatory reporting
  • Lead and mentor a team of PAM engineers and analysts.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation, including training on CyberArk Defender/Sentry certifications.
  • Ensure PAM controls are effectively implemented across regional platforms and applications

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Security, with 5+ years in PAM and CyberArk administration.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale CyberArk implementations in financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (OSFI, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and CyberArk API integrations.
  • Experience with IAM tools (SailPoint, Okta, ForgeRock) and security platforms (SIEM, SOAR).
  • CyberArk Defender and/or Sentry certifications preferred.
