- Review and challenge analytical outputs and reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and strong governance standards.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Risk, Capital Management, Finance, Front Office, and Technology, etc. to communicate key risk drivers, trends, and emerging issues.
- Manage cross-functional projects related to enhancements and new initiatives, coordinating across teams to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Collaborate with modelling, technology, and business partners to enhance market risk processes, reporting quality, and capital efficiency.
- Lead a team with 1–2 direct reports and oversee the production of market risk reports with high-quality analysis and business insights.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:
- Master’s degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Finance, Economics) preferred; professional designation (CFA, FRM, PRM) strongly preferred; PhD an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial services, with strong exposure to capital markets, market risk management, and related regulatory requirements.
- Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams in a complex, deadline-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of market risk methodologies, including VaR, stress testing, market risk capital, and financial derivatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing analytics and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau, with strong programming capabilities (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA, Unix/Bash).
- Strong project, organizational, and execution skills, with demonstrated experience managing cross‑functional initiatives, timelines, and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and control.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, senior‑level insights and exercise sound judgment.
What’s in it for you?
- The opportunity to join a forward-thinking company surrounded by a collaborative team of innovative thinkers.
- A rewarding career path with diverse opportunities for professional development.
