Title: Senior Manager, Loyalty Execution
Requisition ID: 257878
Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.
Two (2) positions available
Leads the development and execution of loyalty strategies that drive customer engagement, acquisition, and growth across Scotiabank’s priority products and partner channels. This role blends seasoned expertise in loyalty marketing, financial services acquisition, and customer engagement to deliver measurable outcomes—deepening primary relationships and increasing activation, frequency, and retention.
The role is deliberately broad in scope, spanning both partner-led engagement initiatives and loyalty-driven acquisition, allowing flexibility to shape priorities as business needs evolve. It carries accountability for delivering results through insight-led strategies and consortium partnerships (including support for enterprise commitments such as the Empire Net New Shopper Commitment for BNS), while ensuring all activity is executed in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Drive Loyalty Engagement & Acquisition: Own and evolve loyalty strategies that drive customer engagement, acquisition, and product adoption across Cards, Lending, and Day-to-Day Banking, increasing activation, frequency, and retention across priority partner channels.
- Strategy & Campaign Execution: Lead end-to-end planning—strategy development, campaign design, execution oversight, and performance optimization—translating strategy into executable roadmaps and briefs for internal delivery teams.
- Customer Growth & Partner Commitments: Drive conversion of Scene+ members into Scotiabank product customers, with accountability for funnel performance from awareness through onboarding and early engagement, while supporting partner commitments such as the Empire Net New Shopper Commitment for BNS.
- Thought Leadership & Business Enablement: Serve as a subject-matter expert in loyalty-based engagement and acquisition, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership to Marketing, Product, Channel, and business-line partners, and supporting them with compelling loyalty value propositions.
- Analytics & Insights: Apply advanced analytics, test-and-learn methodologies, and performance diagnostics—in partnership with Data & Analytics teams—to continuously improve effectiveness, efficiency, and ROI, and to inform strategic direction, prioritization, and future investment choices.
- Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration: Act as a key day-to-day liaison between internal stakeholders (Marketing, BNS, D&A, Technology, Risk) and external partners, ensuring alignment, timely decision-making, and effective issue resolution.
- Risk, Governance & Controls: Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Ensure initiatives comply with Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, and all operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, privacy, and conduct risk requirements, maintaining strong business controls and documentation.
- People Leadership & Team Development: Create an environment that drives high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Coach, develop, and motivate team members through clear goal-setting, feedback, and development planning, fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture aligned to enterprise values and strategy.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
