As a Senior Manager in International Banking Treasury, you will play a key role in shaping treasury strategy across Scotiabank’s international footprint. Working closely with senior leaders, you will deliver insight-driven analysis to support balance sheet management, liquidity, funding, capital, and hedging decisions. This role offers strong exposure, meaningful influence, and the opportunity to work on complex, cross-border treasury challenges.

 

Is this role right for you?  In this role, you will:

 

  • Deliver high-quality treasury analysis to support liquidity, funding, capital, and balance sheet optimization
  • Assess treasury performance, including Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and P&L impacts
  • Develop metrics, dashboards, and analytics to inform senior management decisions
  • Support hedging and balance sheet strategies in collaboration with Finance, Risk, and Group Treasury
  • Partner with international teams to share best practices and enhance treasury outcomes
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and internal policies across jurisdictions

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?  We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:

 

  • Treasury or treasury-related experience within banking or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of liquidity, funding, capital, and balance sheet management
  • Solid understanding of fixed income markets and interest rate risk
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python) is an asset
  • Spanish language skills or working knowledge are an asset
