The Associate Director, Implementation Solutions, is responsible for leading and managing the post-sales client experience for onboarding and implementation of global cash management products and services for Global Transaction Banking (GTB) clients across the Bank’s footprint. Key accountabilities include acting as the central coordination point for multi-country implementations, project managing complex technical implementations, and ensuring operational effectiveness are in line with Scotiabank’s values and risk culture.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Lead and project manage the end-to-end client experience for onboarding new cash management products and services, as well as acting as a point of escalation for service inquiries for companies operating in multiple countries.
  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of Global Transaction Banking products and services —including various connectivity solutions, cash management services, trade finance, deposits and investment solutions—for multinational companies.
  • Championing a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Develop and manage negotiation processes between clients and the bank for non-standard international account and CMS documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, internal policies, and procedures, including operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk, while actively pursuing effective and efficient operations in line with Scotiabank’s values and code of conduct.
  • Contribute to a high-performance and inclusive work environment, assist with internal projects, and support other responsibilities as assigned.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We’d love to work with you if you have:   

  • The position requires managing a portfolio of 20+ complex projects simultaneously; experience in project management (either Project Management Professional or experience with Corporate/Commercial implementations) is preferred
  • Global Transaction Banking experience (5-10 years) or CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation
  • Experience working at a global bank covering multi-jurisdictional clients is preferred
  • University degree in business or similar
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred
